Our Teachers

Our teachers vary in their educational background and include some with Bachelor's degrees, Associate degrees, and Child Development Associates (CDA). Each staff member is required to complete a background check which includes FBI fingerprinting, Criminal Records check with the Arkansas State Police, and child maltreatment check conducted by the Division of Early Childhood. The staff at Open Arms and Noah’s Ark are also required to complete 30 hours of continuing education every year to keep up to date on standards and regulations governing best practices in childcare. We teach from a state-approved curriculum that includes Creative Curriculum, Adventures in Learning for our Pre-K kids, and Adventures in Toddlers for our younger ones. We follow Kindergarten Readiness Skills to ensure your child is ready for their next big step in education.
